This week, the auditor comes to our office to do the yearly audit.
It reminds me of my days as an auditor. It was my first job and has been the most fulfilling and enjoyable one. I still recall the happy times every now and then. How I miss those days…
Now after graduating from university for 8 years, I have not upgrade myself at all. I did not read up any amendments (which are a lot) to the accounting standards. I did not attend any of the professional talks.
My knowledge seems to have stop at 8 years ago. Will any employer wants to hire me if I ever want to change job? Now I can understand why most employer wants to hire fresh graduates.

Cant blame yrself for not updating ur knowledge. All these talks involve spending more money, and v only attend these talks if they r relevant to our current job. Yours is a simple job n doesnt require much updating.
Ter wil still b employer who willing to employ u, coz u got the experience, and u have been working all the while. Unless u r those tai tais that nvr work for the past 8yrs, den don tink they wan u.
So don give up! =)
