Last Saturday, I received a call from my sis. She told me that grandmother’s health is deteriorating. Her kidney has failed and she has refused any dialysis treatment.

My grandmother has suffered from many illnesses. She has been taking medicines for years.

Last year, she has a bad fall and was bedridden for months. With a help of a walking stick, she is able to walk.

Now, as her kidney is not functioning, her body is swollen. She is bedridden again.

Things are not on the bright side. I can sense it when my sis told me that my eldest aunt has rushed from Hong Kong last Saturday.

Is sad when someone we love has to leave us.

Is sadder when someone we love has to suffer so much before leaving us.
